Not vintage but the games being emulated are. And while he paid too much originally (the Toys R Us price at release was $30, but he went to Bed Bath & Beyond and spent $40) his ‘markdown’ was about going rate… personally I’m waiting to thrift it, or not since better has come out since. Flashback 6 was released in 2015, and the Flashback 7 came out last year – all the same games as the 6 plus Arcade Frogger, w00t! – and the 8 should be on the market right this moment (105 games in the standard edition, 120 in the Gold edition, and 130 games in the Activision-branded release!), so this model has been clearanced at the retailers presumably.

Wikipedia says, “It is the same as the Flashback 5 with the wireless joysticks, but it adds 8 more games, increasing the total to 100 games. The new games are:
Atari Climber,
Indy 500,
MotoRodeo,
Radar Lock,
Secret Quest,
Solaris,
Swordquest: Waterworld, and
Yars’ Return.”
