Suno Gallus Wallström, 1836-1922, Sweden. He was a language teacher.
was arrested for rape of a minor in 1895. A 12-year-old girl named Britta gave birth to a “six weeks premature fetus” (deceased) and told her mother that the pregnancy was a result of Suno forcing himself on her. At the time, Britta had been living with Mrs
Wallström, most likely as a domestic help.
Suno admitted to having sex with Britta on several occasions, but said it was fully consensual and that she was the instigator. He later retracted these statements. Many witnesses showed up in court to declare the girl “a liar”, “wild”, and “unchaste”. Suno was cleared of all charges.
